What type of art is best for me?
This depends on your budgeting requirements and space limitations.  For example, if you had a large empty wall in a large law firm, then a large Aboriginal artwork would be the most effective for the space.  Your art advisor will help you to choose the best works for your environment also taking into consideration such things as colour schemes, corporate image that you wish to present and clientele.

Is it important to have a variety of styles in my portfolio?
All high-quality art collections have a variety of artists, genres and mediums. This develops a well rounded collection. You will find that after seeing a few pieces together, your collection will begin to take on a character of its own and you will be able to judge your collection's strengths and weaknesses.

What is the difference between paintings and prints?
Paintings are generally more valuable than works on paper. However, paintings by well known artists are typically well out of reach of most collectors and even some national galleries. One way to access the work of iconic artists is through the medium of limited edition works on paper.

Who owns the artworks?
The artworks are owned by individuals who have purchased art through Galleries Direct.  If the owner wishes to sell the artwork, the rental client will have the first option to buy the work.
